At 1740m, Mt Hotham village is Australia's highest ski village. Situated in Victoria, only 5 hours from Melbourne and 8 hours from Sydney it is a very accessible mountain.

Mt Hotham under went exciting major redevelopment over the past years, including 3 new lifts in 1997 which effectively doubled the skiable area. In addition a substantial part of the extensive snow making plan has been completed.

Mt Hotham is now 55 minutes from Melbourne or Sydney by air with the opening of Mt Hotham Airport. Australia's highest commercial airport is only 10 kms from Dinner Plain, and 20 kms from Mt Hotham.
